Return & Refund Policy

Cleaning Products Australia is committed to supplying quality cleaning products, chemicals, paper goods, dispensers, equipment, and consumables to our customers.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Cleaning Products Australia.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a replacement, refund, repair, or other remedy if a product:

  • is faulty or defective;
  • is unsafe;
  • does not match the description;
  • is not fit for the purpose made known to us;
  • is significantly different from any sample or image shown; or
  • otherwise fails to meet consumer guarantees.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

Please contact us as soon as possible if you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, leaking, incorrectly supplied, or missing from your order.

We may ask you to provide:

  • your order number or invoice number;
  • photos of the product, packaging, label, batch number, or damage;
  • a description of the issue;
  • proof of purchase.

Once assessed, we may provide a replacement, refund, store credit, or another suitable remedy.

3. Change of Mind Returns

For change of mind returns, we may accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the product is:

  • unused;
  • unopened;
  • in original packaging;
  • in resaleable condition;
  • not damaged or contaminated;
  • accompanied by proof of purchase.

Change of mind returns are not guaranteed and must be approved by Cleaning Products Australia before products are returned.

Return freight for change of mind returns is the customer’s responsibility.

4. Products That Cannot Be Returned

For safety, hygiene, and compliance reasons, we generally cannot accept returns of:

  • opened chemical products;
  • partially used products;
  • products with broken seals;
  • contaminated products;
  • custom or special-order items;
  • clearance or discontinued items, unless faulty;
  • products damaged due to misuse, incorrect storage, or failure to follow instructions;
  • PPE, hygiene, or sanitation-related products once opened.

This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or fails to meet consumer guarantees.

5. Return Approval Required

Please do not send products back without contacting us first.

Returns must be approved by Cleaning Products Australia before being shipped back. Unapproved returns may not be accepted.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method.

Refunds may take several business days to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.

Delivery charges may not be refundable for change of mind returns. However, if a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

7. Delivery Damage

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If goods are damaged in transit, please notify us as soon as possible and provide photos of the damaged goods and packaging.

8. Business and Bulk Orders

For business, wholesale, or bulk supply orders, returns may be subject to assessment depending on product type, condition, storage requirements, and whether the goods were special ordered.

Special-order, custom, or bulk-order products may not be returnable for change of mind unless agreed in writing by Cleaning Products Australia.
