The sealed design is built to resist moisture, dust, and contaminants, making it ideal for flood restoration, water damage drying, and other harsh job-site conditions. According to XPOWER’s specifications, the X-47ATR uses a 1/3 HP (225 W) induction motor. 

This motor ensures the fan’s powerful airflow (up to 3,600 CFM per XPOWER data)  while maintaining energy efficiency via a low amp draw. The induction motor is designed to work with the X-47ATR’s variable-speed control, 3-hour timer, and thermal protection system.
